We had my daughters 4th birthday party in the out building here! It was a perfect venue, spacious enough for lots of little princesses and Elsa herself, food was amazing and brought out on time- highly recommend the pizzas!! And Eddie was very friendly and accommodating! Fantastic big garden with play area and pond with lots of fish (with a fenced bridge to walk along to get close to the fish safely) 10/10! Thank you for having us! We will certainly be coming back!
Great pub with, great selection of drinks also, staff are amazing and really polite. The cabins are beautiful and really comfortable. If you are looking for a cold drinks spot here it is!!!
We have been to the Bell Inn twice in the last month and have had a great experience both times! Once we found out that Alex from Bela Bela Pizza in Saffron Walden had moved to the pub, we knew we had to go! If you know, you know - best pizza around! Try the Bell Inn special We also really enjoy the outside area which is so big and welcoming for families and dogs. Highly recommend!
Eddie hosted us and 130 of our friends in June and we had the most amazing time ! We had a band play outside on the stage and also decorated inside the smaller marquee. Thank you Eddie for letting us set up a couple of days before ! He catered for everyone really well (amazing Italian food!!!) and our friends all had the most amazing time. The bar staff were so friendly and welcoming - serving everyone promptly too. It really was a faultless day and we couldn't be more grateful. Eddie has truly transformed the Bell Inn and the best owner to date. Thank you Eddie for making our day so special.
I love this place. Good music, lovely service, plenty of stuff for kids entertainment. Definitely, the best pub in this area!!
Amazing venue with a beautiful garden. This pub hosted our wedding reception which was one of the first ones they had done. You would never of known. Amazing staff and an amazing owner called Eddie. He took so much care to make sure mine and my new wife’s day went as smoothly and stress free as possible. We probably caused him a lot of stress but you would never of known. He was so calm and considerate throughout the whole period. The food is amazing and we also rented out the two cabins and both rooms above the pub. They were all amazing and clean. All of the staff were amazing aswell. They even let us store our wedding cake in their beer cellar. It’s all these little things that really make your day so much easier and I can not thank this owner and staff enough. Please stop by if you can, you will not be disappointed. I am so lucky that this pub is my local
So grateful to have this pub as our local! Great pub garden, super family friendly, awesome selection of gluten-free and dairy free food! We organised our daughters birthday there, Eddy and the team made our life super easy before and during the day- kids had a good time and parents a drink or 2! :) What else?
We recently held not only my nephews 18th but also my son’s 21st birthday at The Bell in their party room. From start to finish Eddie and his team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The venue is the perfect size with its own bar so you don’t need to go over to the pub. They provided a variety of pizza which went down perfectly after a few drinks! Just wanted to say a big thank you for making 2 very special birthdays so memorable! Would highly recommend! Can’t wait do the warmer nights to enjoy a drink and a pizza in their lovely garden too!
So lucky to have this amazing pub in the area. Eddie and his team have done a great job. Already knew what a great place to take the family to it was and how great the food was but just celebrated a milestone with a party in the function room and it really is a great venue. Staff are so hospitable and they made hosting a party of 100 look a breeze. Can’t wait to go back soon
Stunning pub and events space. Performed at a Wedding on Saturday and was blown away by the size of the place. Great garden and outside dining areas sports bar and Wedding style marquee. One of my favourite venues of the year!
